Hello Glastonbury

It was that time of year again. That time of year where I pack up a rucksack full of clothes and bits and pieces and get on a train. Laura picked me up from the station, we hung out that evening and catch up. Then it was a super early morning start, and we were out the door at 5.20am and on the road.
We queued for hours at the gates and then finally got into the site. We went and set up the tent, and then it was time to enjoy Glastonbury 2014! The weather was a little different this year. It went from super hot and sunny to rain and lightening storms. Running for coffee and cover from the rain was fun. But the sun did keep coming out to play, and dried up the mud.
This year wasn't really about the music for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved Arcade Fire---they were just perfect. And made me smile, as they remind me of when myself and David started dating. But it was nice to explore the site a lot more. We had tea and cake on a red double decker bus, we had tea in a 40's tea room with singing waitresses, went to a miniature bug circus, dancing arm in arm with strangers, sent postcards from the middle of a field, jumped into a photo booth, eat wonderful food, and just had super late night deep conversations with my friends. Glastonbury 2014 was a different one this year, but it was perfect.

Gorgeous pictures! Every single one is so pretty (I was going to say I especially love the graffiti wall pic, but then I realize I love the other pics just as much... hah). Looks like a lot of fun!
