Snuggle up with a film

Nothing beats being wrapped up with a hot cup of tea in my hand watching some of my favourite movies.
A couple of my favourite movies to watch in the Autumn are Shopgirl and Once.
Shopgirl stars the beautiful Claire Danes, Steve Martin and my super favourite Mr Jason Schwartzman. Shopgirl is a really cute romantic comedy with an indie feel. Claire Danes' character, Mirabelle is an aspiring artist who works behind a glove counter at a Beverly Hills department store. She meets two very different men, Schwartzman's character Jeremy and Martin's  character Ray. The movie is all about Mirabelle finding the right person for her.

I remember the first time I watched this movie and thinking to myself how much I felt for Claire Danes' character. All the hardship and potholes in looking for that special person.
Another wonderful movie to watch all wrapped up this Autumn is Once. This is another perfect movie, which is shot beautifully.
Once is a gorgeous story of two souls who find each other on the streets of Dublin. They both have a passion for music and come together to help and inspire one another.

The soundtrack to this film is worth the watch, let alone the great characters portrayed by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. The film is very inspiring because it makes you believe in yourself. That you can achieve great things if you really put your mind to it. Also with the help of other creative people. 'If You Want Me' is my favourite track. It fills me with joy and sadness. It's a beautiful song.
Two wonderful films to watch with that special person or dear friend, which are perfect for an Autumn afternoon.

I love love love Once! It's such a beautiful film! We've been to see Glen Hansard a couple of times and we even have a series of posters, a piano, a guitar and a vacumn... they are awesome! I'm going to give Shop Girl a go now, because if you like Once, it's probably really good! x
