Fleur de Thé date

While I love a good cup of coffee, and I am still very much in love with a great cup of English tea. The best tearoom in Rochester has to be Fleur de Thé. I remember finding this cute place last year the days before my birthday. It is simply too perfect. It's a tearoom but its also a gorgeous shop. Lots of amazing pieces to buy, and treats to eat while in there!

Myself and David popped in, grabbed a seat by the window and ordered two cream teas. I love the mix and match tea cups, plates, and beautiful teapot. We drank our tea in peace and chatted about our day. Drinking tea is always so relaxing, and really is good for the soul.

This tearoom really is such a lovely place to visit. We sat and talked about adventures ahead. It's a great place to relax and watch the world go by. I'm still swooning over the gorgeous teaspoons, which I hope to go back and purchase one day. Plus maybe some teacups, oh and a teapot, actually who am I kidding I want everything they have for sale. They even had pastel painted mason jars for vases which I think will be going on my next craft list! They really did look perfect. I really can't wait for my next visit.

Current work

So I thought I would share a few snap shots of my current work. I am hoping to open my etsy store again soon, but I have been very busy making lots of new pieces. I am always sourcing lots of materials for my next work. I am drawn to paper and anything with a little history behind it. I have also started collecting different types of paper as I have been making some really cute bunting necklaces. They were just a trial piece, but they seem to have sold well with summer coming up. 

My table in Made in Ashford is always looking full at the moment. Sometimes I think one thing is selling better than another, and then something completely different sells well! It's always changing so I am trying to seep making various bits and pieces. I started to make some new earrings and I have just launched them in the Made in Ashford shop. So I am excited to see if people like them!

Coffee date

The other day I had a creative meeting with some pals in the coolest coffee shop/vintage store. I got to Very Vintage in Herne Bay a little earlier so I could just relax before the meeting.

I ordered my coffee, and it appeared in the cutest teacup which was a lovely surprise. I also ordered a brownie which came with a tiny pot of cream. Just too cute to handle, and very delicious too!

Having coffee surrounded by lots of gorgeous clothes is amazing but also dangerous for my wallet. After a while the others turned up and we had a great meeting planning a few upcoming events. Being creative is always the main drive in my life, it keeps me going, keeps me happy, but it's also giving me amazing friends and artists to work with.
