i have had a few wonderful adventures over the past few days. went to London on Sunday for London film and comic convention, and it was awesome! i met a guy dressed up as the doctor, stole a stormtroopers gun, walked past many hot nerdy guys, looked at stalls filled with comic books, toys, posters and other amazing stuff, brought American candy, FINALLY got my hands on a Scott Pilgrim poster, looked at old comic books, saw a few famous people from a far. on Monday i went to London again with Mandy for an arty trip...which i was very much in need for. i really miss looking at art, and going to galleries, i really need to get back in the mind frame. anyway, went to the surreal house, ra summer exhibition and we also went for a look at the work currently in the saatchi gallery...we also had enough time to walk past noel clark on the street..i wanted to go up and say hi, but he was on the phone, it was still pretty amazing though! the art at the saatchi i did quite like, because for some strange reason i really loved all these quirky little characters i seemed to spot, they started to make me laugh.

i think i feel a little more creative now..which makes me feel alot better. i had a fun day. :)

i had the most beautiful time, full of laughs, good food, amazing ice creams and friends i will love forever. i got up nice and early on monday morning to meet friends to catch the skylink bus to the airport. the flight was fun, and full of laughs. plus i was still reading yes man- by danny wallace. he was making me laugh. when we got to rome, it took us about 45 mins to get to the hotel. i shared with 3 other lovely people. our room was cute.

after we had un-packed and sorted our room out we went to the colloseum. it was breathtaking, simply stunning!!! i know it sounds a bit geeky, but all i could think of was the movie jumper!! jamie bell...eek!! :)

during my few days in rome, i had so much fun. i don't think i have laughed so much in such a long time. it was great to hang out with old friends. the food was wonderful, the sights were breathtaking, the buildings were grand and the art was amazing.

i did find a really beautiful church. on the railings outside the church was hundreds of padlocks. all these padlocks had peoples names on them. couples names. i thought it must be all the people they may have gotten married in the church, or visitors may have put them there. it was amazing.i said that i would have an ice cream diary, and i had 4 amazing ice creams, but quite a few flavours, these included cookie dough/biscuit, white ice cream with dark chocolate pieces, coconut, mint (which was very very strong), vanilla lemon, fudge with chocolate pieces, and another version of coconut and mint...with cream! :)the ceilings and building were beautiful in rome. every church or building held something wonderful. one building i loved was the Pantheon. the Pantheon does not have a roof, so the rain, light, dark and come in. its amazing to look up so high.

other places i enjoyed visiting were the Vatican, the Sistine chapel, and St.Peters.

apart from the ceiling i loved the floors in all these beautiful buildings. tiles, mosaics, patterns.fun was had. however i am glad to be back..i missed silly English things like tea, reading the paper, and watching telly. :)

ah i am still trying to read my very old books about birds and animals for my work..ahhh i just cannot be bother to do reading at the moment...and i hate saying that.

oh wonderful news. in my city at the cinema you can choose a film that you want to play and you can dedicate it to anyone, but you have to pay £150 but you get 30 free tickets, and the public can go as well as they just have to pay for their ticket. you can pick any film, and it gets mentioned in the monthly guide/times for the film on at the cinema. however i feel that it is very expensive, but its a beautiful idea. when i read that people have dedicated certain films for peoples birthday, or just because they wanted too, it melts my heart. when i was in the cinema the other day i looked at the movies for the month that people had paid for, and what did i see, my favourite movie 'Garden State'....my month dropped open. if i could have picked any movie to be played it would have been this one. i never got to see this movie in the cinema. so i am going to go see it. i am very much looking forward to it. even though i have the DVD, i still feel the need to go see it. it will also be cool to see the people that it was put on for. and in this case the movie is: To celebrate Steph's 40th. :D

and behind door number three...

i am trying to make something...but i have just got the materials. anyway...the sky again...i couldn't not take a photo of the sky today. i decided to take more because of my last post. i can't help it.you know when you get these wonderful presents for christmas, and you end up having a little mini pile in your room..and you don't wanna take the items away from each other because that kinda means christmas is over...well i started today sorting them out. looking at what i had got and trying to find place for in my room. books and dvds went easily on my shelves, but i ended up playing around with my labbit for a bit.

a few presents i got for christmas included a couple of beautiful necklaces i got from my grandparents. they are simply wonderful. one of them is a small mark pawson, reversible necklace. its so sweet, it balances life and art together, as it should be. and the other necklace they got me was Pegasus' wings necklace.other gifts included; an odd star wars lego pen and 'mr toast' from my sister.and finally the 11th doctor was revelved the other night! matt smith will be taking over from david tennant!! i will be so sad to see david tennant leave, as i love him so much. however i do think the bbc have made a good choice! i really wanted someone younger and kinda unknown to take over. plus he has amazing hair! i can't wait to see what he will be like. oh i have also been tagged by beautiful Micaela to write 6 things that make me happy: i have done this before, so i am going to do what is making me happy at the moment...

why didn't the skeleton go to the new year's eve party?

merry christmas, everyone! :)
i hope you all had a beautiful time at christmas! fun was had in my house. on christmas eve i watched lots of different panto on telly and made cookies with my sister. then i woke up early christmas morning and opened a big stocking left from santa, with lots of goodies. then got dressed and went downstairs and opened presents from my sister and gave presents to my mum and dad. then waited for my nan and grandad to come round. we had lunch while listening to top of the pops at christmas. after lunch we got to open all our presents, and i got some wonderful gifts. one of my amazing presents was my labbit!! i have been looking for one of these for about 2 years!! and i got one for christmas. he is so cute! i have no ideas for a name yet...but he did enjoy my cookies!after a long night of food, doctor who telly special, family, party hats, gifts, board games, chocolate and other fun it was time to go to sleep. when i woke up in the morning it was fun to relax and hang out with my family. then later on in the day we went to my nan and grandad's for boxing day. we had a wonderful dinner and more presents!very odd presents were given to me...and i love it!! haha.

for christmas i got breaking dawn...at last! i have had no money to buy the last book in ages ages ages, and was looking forward to christmas so much, so i could finally read the book!!! i have just started 'book two' in breaking dawn- jacob. i am glad to be reading this book at last!! :)

the story behind this photograph is; it was taking in the studio in my first year of uni. my friend had drawn these pictures of characters from the mighty boosh with crayons on squared graph paper. she then stuck these all over my studio space and when i came in i was really surprised to see it!! it made me laugh so much!!i am now going to tag; Let nature be, Tic-Tac-Tomato, The drifter and the gypsy and Looking through mauve-colored glasses

hello..my name is

thank you all very much for your lovely lovely lovely comments!! they made me smile, and i need smiles at the moment. on Tuesday we had a cute bake sale to raise money for our degree show fund. decorating cakes is so much fun.

i went out with a couple of my friends to my friends photography fund raising party. and it was such a laugh! and it was held in the most random pub ever!! it was way out of town, and i felt like i had gone back in time. the pub was so cute and old. there was one room in the pub that was near the back, and it was so odd!! i had to take some photos! you can see for yourself.

also at the party, there was this amazing machine. a guy was going around taking photos of people and then they can print the photo straight away into a beer bottle label, how cool is that!?!?!? i need to stick mine on my free bottle of beer soo, but i just wanted to show you the sticker.i always seem to come back with random things in my bag from a night out...i was very surprised to see i had been given this award by two amazing bloggers; rosie posie rosie, who is the sweetest person on the world and the amazing The Snows of Kilimanjaro This did put a smile on my face. thank you, thank you, thank you so much!! :)
