So I turned 28 on Tuesday. 28...gosh that sounds so strange. I woke up with the sun shining through the window. A few little presents were opened, and then we wandered down the road to have breakfast. We decided to go to the Green Door Deli. David mentioned it was my birthday, and the guys said I could have a free birthday desert. David treated me to birthday pancakes and the guys gave me extra bacon.
We then went into Canterbury to meet my awesome friend Sarah. We looked around the cute shops and then decided to go for lunch. We went to my favourite cafe in Canterbury, Cafe turquoise. We had iced coffees and sandwiches.
I got such wonderful gifts such as a new Kanken, holiday money for my trip, and fun boardgames.
I also received the greatest balloon, which was a huge Hello Kitty! I am so in love with it. My mum made me a pastel rainbow cake, and it was the most tasty cake ever! Go mumma Jennings! I had a brilliant day with family and friends. Being 28 isn't too bad so far.
just watched Alex Day on the radio 1 web cam....man, hes so cute and awkward. i really want forever yours as the Christmas number 1...sadly, i know that's not going to happen.
anyway, i am feeling the Christmas spirit at the moment. apart from being really ill this morning with throwing up and feeling like death..i have put on a brave face and got on with it. 
so today i was woke up by my sister moaning at my dad about when we were going to leave...and there is me still in bed...oops. we went to bluewater today. my sister wanted to have a look around for birthday ideas, and i needed to get her a present. 
it was really nice to all spend some time together, its not often we are all together. we went for lunch, then looked around the shops, we spilt up as i needed to find my sister gifts, and then later came back together for coffee and a chat. 
so i did end up in the Lego shop today...ended up buying 3 crazy little make-your-own Lego figures and some more harry potter Lego..i cannot help myself...Lego rules. oh i also ended up joining this Lego group thingy...yes i am a total nerd.
so went on a mini adventure at the weekend. went to Devon for my lovely friend Laura's birthday. my other lovely friend Claire went as well, which was really nice. the train journeys were not very nice though...everyone seemed to be rushing around at the weekend, trying to get home or to different places. on the Saturday we went laser questing in the woods, it was freezing cold, so cold i thought it would be breathing ice and my hands would crack in to a million pieces. but after a few games we all warmed up. after a lovely chinese takeaway and a little bit of strictly come dancing, like the good old days, we then went out dancing and visiting cute little pubs and cocktail bars.
ah the journey home wasn't the best either. had to stand up all the way home...well, i say stand up. after an hour into the journey once this guy got off, i took his space, and sat on the floor playing the gameboy...Lego batman...and kinda zoned out. it was so nice to get home, because it had been such a cold day. then of course, the next day it snows!! and hasn't really stopped since. works been kinda odd with people that can't get in, and why are people still coming shopping in the giant snow!! i guess its because its Christmas soon. one of my friends has just lost their father. its such a sad time. but sometimes i feel like a rubbish friend because i never know what to say in these situations. all i could say was that i was there if they needed me. 
it was my day off today, which was a rather good thing because the snow is super thick today and still falling! i wrapped Christmas presents, listened to Christmas songs, laughed at Michael buble as Justin bieber, wished friends good luck, heard about a few friends being snowed in, wrote letters, and have enjoyed being inside on such a horrible cold day.
after work today, once i had got in from the little flakes of snow falling, i was greeted by a beautiful package, all for me. it was from my lovely friend Lina!---it was my Christmas present! and oh my, it was amazing. inside the wonderful box, was a cute pair of stamps!---two little faces with moustaches!---and i lovely note, doesn't she have the most beautiful handwriting! thank you very much Lina!
doodle-city....in doodle city, at the moment-----two girls have just appeared, not sure why and what they want, but they have just appeared. 
Merry Christmas!! i hope you all had a lovely time. i got some beautiful camera's before Christmas, so lots of photos were taken, and i cannot wait to get them developed.
at Christmas lunch, i rather liked being max from where the wild things are----well i felt like him with my crown. i am going to see it on Tuesday with J. it looks amazing, i have already seen a really cool puzzle book i want from the movie. i love Christmas because i always get to spend time with my sister, who always seems to be mega busy all the time...fun and laughs were had. PLUS-----its not Christmas without the Doctor Who Christmas Special, which was amazing...a little sad because you know the 10th doctor's time is drawing to a close, but exciting all the same. 
the coolest presents i got this year, have to be from my bestest friends in the whole planet---Charlotte and Mandy. from Charlotte i got the coolest salt, pepper, mustard and ketchup--picnic set!----its supper duper cute! and a ultra cool popcorn cup and a cute headband--which i love, because of the bird-ness...if that's even a word.aha. Mandy got me two cute tatty devine bird rings, a rather odd bird decoration, a lovely photo frame--(which will be filled with an amazing photo from our latest adventure)-----AND, some rather twilight rice decorations for the tops of cup cakes!!!!!!!!!!-------i cannot wait to make cakes and put them on the top!
so it rained all day today...and didn't stop. ah normally i like the rain, but for some reason it put me in a bad mood, and made me unhappy. i have been cold all day. and have not stopped drinking hot tea. my sister came back last night, i was super happy to see her. She got me some lovely gifts. She got me a snow globe for my "collection"..(if you can call it that..haha i only have a few). I don't know what it is, i find them really tacky, but i think that's why I like them..its become a 'thing' now to collect them. She also got me an ultra cool clock! and some cute hello kitty biscuits and a chocolate umbrella! :)

5. True Blood---Like I said in my last post, I watched the first episode the other day and was completely drawn in by it. Its rather odd, but in a good way. I am looking forward to watching more.
