would you take a pound for it?

today i woke up quite early, and went to a boot sale with my lovely friend Mandy. when we got there, there was not many stalls, (i think that might have been because it was raining really hard this morning) however we did find a few bits and pieces we liked. I found two cute brooches which were £1 each, which i thought was quite good, and i got a tea tin which cost me 50p, and i thought i would be able to fill it with some sort of treasure. :) after looking round we decided to go for a little drive. the weather was getting better. we stopped to look at some Poppy's. i felt quite happy as i sat in the car and took in the countryside. i guess i have missed it quite alot, since i have been living in a city. it was nice to be back.

while on our drive, i found an amazing car, which i would love to be able to drive! it looks beautiful and lots of fun.i also nipped round my nan and grandad's house today with my dad. it was really nice to see them, and i love being in their house. nan feed us cheese and biscuits, and a lovely piece of chocolate roll. while at their house i got to visit gdad's shed (which i love) and i found two small chairs my sister and myself used to sit on..they had been cleaned and ready to give away for someone else to use. I remember that i had lots of Beatrix Potter stickers on my chair.

today has been rather odd. it was a lovely sunny, and beautiful day. i felt as if i was going to get so much work done..hmm..yeah. i went downstairs this morning to get a paper and some milk and what did i find on my door mat, but some lovely post..all for me, from Lina. i couldn't stop smiling. i love getting post from my pen pals, they are so wonderful. and every little note i get from them i will always keep forever.at lunchtime i went on a little walk with friends, just so we could go out in the sun. we found a brand new sweet shop filled with jars and jars and jars of old, new, fun, yummy sweets. it was amazing. i found some sweets me and my sister got on holiday last year!! so i got some and will be sending her some..i also got myself some. and they are so nice. today i found a cute bargain, i went into a charity shop today (as i couldn't go to the cattle market today) and found a cute pin, its an umbrella, it is so pretty. while we were out i wanted to get another ring, so my friends let me go into the cake shop and get another ring. i got another Dino ring..he is pretty cool.i forgot..a while ago i got vanity fair, and it was all about comedy's new legends..i am sure you have seen it. i have never laughed so much while reading a magazine. the photos were amazing!!! and so so so funny. all the photos can be found here.

so i am back at uni!! and i had some wonderful post waiting for me. thank you very much!!! :)

its odd being back in my room..with my bits and bobs and trying to get on with lots of work. i will hopefully have some photos very soon.

i went to the cattle market very early this morning, in search of some wonderful finds. and i did find some treats. :) i am currently on the look out for lots of different plates. any odd, cool, pretty, weird plates. all i can imagine is having a collection of all different plates and when friends come round they don't know what plate they will get to eat off of..he he. i also found an old video camera, which is amazing. and some sheets of music..which i like even more because they have been drawn on and added to. i am in love with old things.....oh i also have some 'hello my name is...' stickers!!!!!! eek.

home sweet home

so i am back home in my little town, away from noise, uni, lots of people. when i get home from uni, i know that i am home...but i don't feel i am home anymore...i am not sure where i belong now. don't get me wrong, i am welcomed back by family and friends who are so happy to see me..but i just have the feeling because i am away at uni for long periods of time..the idea of home is sipping away..and its not my home anymore...well not until summer when i come home for good.now i was happy to be going home for the Easter holidays..however now i am back i am not sure. its a weird thing..when you don't have something you miss it so much...but when you do have it..you long for a difference. i know its silly...but knowing i only have a couple of months left living away from home at uni, living with my flatmates-my best friends that i have only known just under 3 years-who i now believe to be life long friends, living in a city, being able to do what i want, go wherever i want...and that will all soon disapear..forever..it makes me sad. and i don't want to lose it all just yet.

so home! well mum has finally chosen a wallpaper for the living room, its on one wall, and i love it so much. its beautiful.

i went to a boot sale today..eek, its good to be back looking through junk and looking for beautiful finds. i found an old doctor's bag (i need to give it a good clean before i take a good photo), some old photos, a child's letter to their parents, an old pop up Christmas card, and a beautiful bird pin. i think i am going to start collecting broaches, i think i have fallen in love with them.
