They only met once, but it changed their lives forever

another day goes by. today i had a long day at uni, then came home for a little bit of a rest. i just messed about today, and i have also been trying to sort out a halloween costume for tomorrow night...i am going to two house parties! i ended up watching the breakfast club today. i love this movie so much. "They were five total strangers, with nothing in common, meeting for the first time. A brain, a beauty, a jock, a rebel and a recluse. Before the day was over, they broke the rules. Bared their souls. And touched each other in a way they never dreamed possible." this movie is simply wonderful, a classic.

these are a few of my favourite things..at the moment anyway :)

at the moment lots of things are buzzing around in my head..i have so many things to be thinking about...including my work. but i still seem to find time to think about all the other little bits and bobs that inhabit my life. the things i seem to be thinking about the most are;
1) TWILIGHT- Man alive, i am mega involved in this. still reading the 3rd book, i have not found the time since i have been back at uni, but i will push on. i was so excited to see posters, signs and a massive cut out of the cast..i am tempted to get my friend to take a photo of me with Robert! he he.
2)ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT- All i seem to be doing is coming in from uni, or anywhere, switching the telly on, and playing Arrested Development. It is on constant replay over and over and over again..i seem to be watching the same disc like 3 times before i think, right i need to change it. i must have watched all 3 series in the space of a few days.
3) KENT ROGOWSKI- My dear friend Charlotte showed me this wonderful artist, who i like very much and will hopefully help me along with my work. He takes stuffed toys and turns them inside out. it makes you look and question more about these children's toys..they look so alien and odd like. his website can be found here...http://www.kentrogowski.com/
4) KRISTEN STEWART- oh she is very cool.
and last but by no means least...ah ROBERT PATTINSON- I can't really say anything else than..brilliant. oh and maybe the fact i am in love with his hair. :)

it all started with a chair..

i have not been on here for quite some time, and this post is rather an odd one. just bits and pieces. just hanging in the kitchen with my fab room mate..and watching one of my all time favourite movies, Juno. i know i have talked about it before..but i can never express how much i truly love it...however i am sure my roommates would be able to tell you..as i used to have the soundtrack on repeat all day long.
Ellen and Michael are simply brilliant...i love them.

this is a wonderful drawing by the tea drinking english rose..of me! :)the wonderful kiss my sass gave me this beautiful award, i thank you very much for visiting my blog!! i would like to pass on the wonderful-ness to these beautiful blogs;my all time favourites, photographer; Let nature be

in the studio making art

today was first day back at uni...aaaah last year!! needed to sort out my space today..and that was ok. it was good being back in the studio, with friends. it was so nice seeing everyone, and chatting and hanging out, hearing summer stories of travels, families, hugs, festivals and other random things.
i got a few new arty bits, like pens and some really nice new sketch/notebooks..i love a new blank book waiting for ideas and thoughts.
well after a very very very long day in the studio i went food shopping to get a few bits. and i got a really cute gingerbread man for a little treat. he was so cute and very yummy! :)

Don't lose your friends!!

today was really nice, just hanging out with friends and having one of those lazy days. i feel as if my photos have been kinda odd at the moment....sorry about that. :)
today i went with my lovely friends to see How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. the film was funnier than i thought, which was a nice surprise. it was very very funny, and i was very happy to see lots of English comedians in the movie, and lots of which i love!! :) Simon Pegg was very funny, loved his dancing. and Kirsten Dunst was very cool and sweet. she always looks great. a fun and happy movie!

one coin for me, one for you

today was really nice. i didn't really get up to much. just kept myself to my myself..reading, chilling out. sometimes i love to have time to myself. at the moment i am still on the 3rd book in the twilight saga..and still loving it. and i have to admit, i keep watching the trailer...oh i can't wait until the movie comes out! today seems to be going very very slooooooow....time is passing by, but it doesn't seem like it. i know that sounded like the most random thing ever!!
tonight i am gonna watch smart people, its such an odd, sweet, kinda sad movie. or i might watch Hallam Foe, as i love Jamie Bell :) Hallum Foe is an amazing film, fair enough it is very odd...but it has a wonderful tone about it. and the characters are inviting..plus all again very odd. but a beautiful film none the less.

around and around..and then around again

ahhh it was such a long journey from my cute little house..to my flat in a big city. and i feel really sad...i am missing home like crazy. my family and friends, everyday routines. i went our for dinner with my friends, sort of like a going away thing, even though i am only going to uni, and will be back at Christmas! but it was fun none the less! when i got back to Nottingham, and the flat...i felt so weird. and then my other flatmates arrived, and i felt a little better. we all decided to go out to the goose fair, which is like this giant fun fair, and its only on once a year. rides including the waltzers and the ghost train which we went on..which was very funny. and hot donuts were shared. then we headed home. all very tired from our long day.
being back in my cute little room is lots of fun. i keep finding all my little bits that i have missed over the summer. my odd bits. its really cool that i have two rooms! i am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. even though i am missing people like crazy..it is nice to be back :)
