just look directly at them

if anyone is up for being part on an art exchange, let me know!..anyway, i went on a fun filled adventure to Brighton on Tuesday with my bestest friends. aaah i had so much fun, i miss them so much. we all are busy with work and other life stuff that we don't hang out as much as we did when we were at uni, as we were always together. just hanging out and chatting about silly random stuff was amazing. i and then went to London yesterday with my other bestest friend. yesterday was comic book fun. we went to forbidden planet in London, and i think we were in there for like over 2 hours...haha..i think it was due to the fact down stairs consists of a GIANT room filled with lots of beautiful books- comic books- art books- graphic novels- picture books---and so on. PLUS they had a giant sale section and i spent most of my time looking through the shelves. i found lots of really cool graphic novels from 50p to £2.99..so i got lots of amazing deals. it wasn't great however when i saw a few books i had brought a while ago at full price now between £1.99-£2.99. blah! i also got myself a few little treats.
today was fun, went out to lunch with friends from work. i am really missing work, i know that sounds kinda crazy, but i am. i cant wait to go back. i am currently really really really wanting broken bells new album, more doctor who chats, and a hand knitted cardigan.

red red red...

hello all! still getting on with my work..looking, reading, making birds for my art. i had a wonderful Friday night celebrating comic relief, or red nose day. its an amazing event to raise money. comics and other famous people get together to raise money for charity, and you can too. i got this years red nose day t-shirt, with the Beatles on, designed by Stella McCartney. i love it very so. lots of red bits and pieces were had on Friday.i got the most amazing bat necklace ever!! i got it the other day, i am in love with it so much..i keep wearing it. :) now that i am back from Rome, i am trying to get back to normal life. although i long for late nights, wonderful wine, beautiful food, and amazing views. but i guess life goes on!! :) my labbit got some amazing gifts from rome.i treated myself to two new pairs of converse...i am in love. my other ones were falling to pieces, so i had to get more.ah i also went to see Watchmen the other day, and it was amaing!! and i also went to see garden state at the cinema like i said in a post before! it was wonderful, people were laughing and it was shown in a small screen...oh it was great. i am still smiling!!! :D

on the way back home

ah so i packed up my uni room and left for summer. i felt really sad leaving my friends behind, but also felt happy as i was to see my old friends at home. so it was Saturday morning, i was in a bit oh a rush to get ready. i hugged my friends goodbye..i came 4th this year in big brother..(the last one in the flat is the winner) i came second last year, and then was out the door.

got my train with time to spare..and then the train left...bye bye Nottingham, home of the great Robin Hood. the train i was on was a fast one, so the time went really fast. and then i was in London. by this point i could not wait to get home and see my family and friends. then catch the London train to Kent. i read a really cool graphic novel that i picked up the other day, its worth a read. its called the plain janes by Cecil Castellucci and Jim Rugg. Its about 4 girls called Jane and how they want to get art into their town.
ah while on the train home i was listening to my new fave Coconut Records...
"Don’t talk to me that way, Don’t talk to me that way, I don’t ever want to hear you say, Anything, Cause you’ve been nighttiming baby, It’s starting to show, Cause you’ve been nighttiming baby, It’s out of control, Yeah you’ve been nighttiming baby, And you ought to get home, Yeah you’ve been nighttiming baby, Uh huh." oh i love it so much! i must find a way to get the cd!
then i was home...from the dullness of London to the bright greenness of Kent..i knew i was home.

i was going out for drinks to catch up with friends when i got back. and it was so much fun, and i really felt happy that i was home.
