Movie date by the sea

We took a little trip to Ramsgate in Thursday. I took my brand new Batman tote out for a trip. I am in love with the print. I am starting up my ever growing tote collection again. And I guess that's not a bad thing.
We wandered down to the seafront to view the gorgeous boats and the beautiful blue sea. We went to our favourite cinema on the seafront to watch a little film called Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film was amazing, well done Joss.
The cinema is so old fashioned, in a wonderful way. It's even down to the great ticket stubs they give you. Which always adds character.
After the film, which again of course was awesome (yay for Scarlet Witch) we wandered along the seafront and into the town. The building are always so beautiful, and have so much history.
Also, I managed to pick up Star Wars cereal! Which I am far too excited about. We never have any fun cereals in the UK anymore. I can't wait to visit the US this summer and fill my suitcase up with yummy cereals.

it was EPIC

oooook!!!----so i finally got to see scott pilgrim vs the world, after such a long wait! so it was a rainy wednesday evening, i met up with my friends emma, charlotte and mandy. we went out for dinner, which was really nice to just chill and catch up. and as they love me so much, they came with me to go watch the movie. ah, i don't really know how to sum it up, but i thought it was really good. they missed out lots but of course they had to for time. i liked the fact i was a fan of the graphic novels, and have read they before i saw the movie, because i knew all the important back stories that were not really told on screen. cera did an amazing performance. cera tends to play the same sort of role, (i do love him anyway), however, he seemed different, and played scott well. the cast were awesome, and all really fitted their characters. i loved it! :) plus hanging out with your bestest friends makes for a fun filled night. oh and one more thing, alison pill as kim pine.......AWESOME.today after work i nipped out with my mum and dad, and did a little bit of shopping. a cool bag, a couple of cheap cds, and a PILE of awesome magazines were brought.

your views on ringo starr?

so went out with my sister on her day off on Wednesday. which was really nice. she is always so busy..i never really get to send much time with her..which is rubbish. we had these cool milkshakes...however my sister decided it would be more fun to spill hers all over the floor...i couldn't stop laughing.
she brought an amazing skirt! its so beautiful, i wish i could show you. i got a few little bits and bobs.on Thursday i went out with my friend Sarah. it was really nice. we got to go to comic book shops, and other geeky stuff like that. :) i got myself a star wars comic, and a second hand book from oxfam. i got are you Dave gorman? which is about Dave gorman and Danny Wallace, who go on this crazy trip to see how many people they can find with the same name as Dave gorman..haha. i have only read a few pages, but i can't stop laughing already!this morning i got up and was very very excited! i was going to see (500) days of summer today!!! eek. while i waited to be picked up, i sat outside. it was quite windy..but also really warm. oh the film was simply beautiful. it made me feel happy, sad, angry, upset. and also alone. but it was wonderful. my favourite part of the movie was the 2 screen parts. for example at the beginning when she was blowing a dandelion and he was catching bubbles. but also the expectations and reality part. i left the cinema feeling happy but also a little sad.
ps, i love Ringo Starr.
i got given these BEAUTIFUL awards from the lovely lovely Tic-Tac-Tomato. thank you very much Sophia!!! :)

final countdown is over!

hello all!!! i am finally finished! i have finished uni! eek!!! it is so scary. i finished yesterday at 4'o'clock..on the dot, while we played 'the final countdown'. friends that i had made in three years were all in the same room, shedding tears, hugs, photo taking, and one giant photo with the whole year, which back in year one was over 100...and now just 68 made it to the end. we all went out last night for drinks and fun. so my work will be marked soon, and then it will all be over. i should hopefully have some pictures up of my final work on my private view night which is the 5th! eek, hopefully it will be a lovely night with my family coming up to see all the art.so now i am finished i can be on here now!!! yay yay!! i missed my blogs birthday, so i have had my blog for over a year now, and i love it so much. i didn't really know what i was doing when i started but i love it so much. and i am even more happy that people do like to read it, and want to speak to me. thank you all, you are beautiful, and you make me smile everyday. :D i have not really been up to anything at the moment because of work, so i probably don't have anything that interesting to say. although a funny thing happened to me the other day. at uni we have this section in the studios where people can put bits and bobs, materials, paper, and anything really that they do not need, that someone else could use. its an amazing place :) well i was looking through it the other day and found some Dazed and Confused magazines. these are really odd magazine like back to 2003, i found a Eva green cover and a Franz Ferdinand cover. i picked these up and went back to my space. i was then flicking through the magazines and saw the pictures of Franz. i thought i recognized some of the photos....and then i realised where i had seen these pictures before. in college i had looked through some magazines and found a picture of Alex (which i loved) and photo copied the photo. the photo copy has been on ever wall since college..which would be about 3 years! and now i have the original!!!! eeeek. now onwards and upwards.
i got tagged by my lovely pen pal from lina to write about my 5 current obsessions :)
1) Mr Zachary Quinto.....hmm...i have been a little obsessed with him since heroes, right at the start. and even more now. :)2) after weeks and weeks of waiting for my work to be due in, i got to go see Star Trek today! and yay yay, it was amazing. i loved it so much. funny, breath-taking, and amazing special affects!3) Kristen Stewart...I LOVE HER! she is beautiful. and i cannot wait to see adventureland! i really really need a games, games, games tshirt.4) Scott Pilgrim books. i have been re-reading them during spare mins while i have been trying to my work, it has been my salvation during my work. i am going to go buy/or order the 5th book tomorrow.5) Candy Corn....hmmm its all i can think about at the moment. but i have never ever tried it before. we don't have it over here in the UK. i am going to go to the cool American sweet shop in town tomorrow and buy some, if they have any. although it is so expensive in this shop...aaah. i now tag Let Nature Be, A Drawing Journal, my paper heart, The tea drinking english rose, and drinking in the morning sun- who is new to the blogging world!!! please please check her out! her cute illustrations/comics :)
while i have not been on here, i got an AMAZING award from The tea drinking english rose. i will now give this to secret ginger, from lina and drinking in the morning sun who i would love to drink lemonade with right now. :)
hopefully i will be back on here tomorrow, if i have something interesting to say that is! peace and love to you all. :)

gold teeth and a curse for this town...

hello!! the picture above is a small drawing my friend did of me very very quickly on scrap paper..i found it rather funny, so it made it on here :)
ah i am still trying to read my very old books about birds and animals for my work..ahhh i just cannot be bother to do reading at the moment...and i hate saying that.
oh wonderful news. in my city at the cinema you can choose a film that you want to play and you can dedicate it to anyone, but you have to pay £150 but you get 30 free tickets, and the public can go as well as they just have to pay for their ticket. you can pick any film, and it gets mentioned in the monthly guide/times for the film on at the cinema. however i feel that it is very expensive, but its a beautiful idea. when i read that people have dedicated certain films for peoples birthday, or just because they wanted too, it melts my heart. when i was in the cinema the other day i looked at the movies for the month that people had paid for, and what did i see, my favourite movie 'Garden State'....my month dropped open. if i could have picked any movie to be played it would have been this one. i never got to see this movie in the cinema. so i am going to go see it. i am very much looking forward to it. even though i have the DVD, i still feel the need to go see it. it will also be cool to see the people that it was put on for. and in this case the movie is: To celebrate Steph's 40th. :D
i was tagged by the beautiful lina to do the show me whats in your bag tag!! how cool! i sorted my bag out the day before, and it would have been more interesting but its not now! :)i now tag... Lottie, The Psychedelic Schoolgirl, Jane and Looking glass girl. enjoy!!!! :D
