mad times have been had. its so nice to come home from a long day at work, and just chill out. we have had super amounts of snow recently, which has been rather super!----however getting to work wise, its not been that great!..or falling over on the ice, which i haven't done yet! but now its raining and the snow is being washed away...i really wanted snow on Christmas day.
i went to see the pet shop boys with J on Monday night in London--as he had a spare ticket. it was amazing, i have always loved the pet shop boys, and to go see them live was FAB. their show was so visual--cube walls, dancers with cubes for heads, and of course their outfits. it was amazing.
apart from that i have been wrapping presents, watching Nick and Norah, taking photos, reading old comics, reading mail from my pen pal Jane, listening to my merry making Xmas cd, going out to dinner with my best friends, going for cups of tea in town, workingworkingworkingworking...in a busy shop at Christmas time, getting my rock paper scissors necklace in the post, and growing my very own Christmas tree.
aah also, me and the wonderful lina, have started our very own blog together, its all for fun, a mini project. please check it out!---i hope you enjoy, we have only just started, but hope to get updating as much as we can!

so went on a mini adventure at the weekend. went to Devon for my lovely friend Laura's birthday. my other lovely friend Claire went as well, which was really nice. the train journeys were not very nice though...everyone seemed to be rushing around at the weekend, trying to get home or to different places. on the Saturday we went laser questing in the woods, it was freezing cold, so cold i thought it would be breathing ice and my hands would crack in to a million pieces. but after a few games we all warmed up. after a lovely chinese takeaway and a little bit of strictly come dancing, like the good old days, we then went out dancing and visiting cute little pubs and cocktail bars.
ah the journey home wasn't the best either. had to stand up all the way home...well, i say stand up. after an hour into the journey once this guy got off, i took his space, and sat on the floor playing the gameboy...Lego batman...and kinda zoned out. it was so nice to get home, because it had been such a cold day. then of course, the next day it snows!! and hasn't really stopped since. works been kinda odd with people that can't get in, and why are people still coming shopping in the giant snow!! i guess its because its Christmas soon. one of my friends has just lost their father. its such a sad time. but sometimes i feel like a rubbish friend because i never know what to say in these situations. all i could say was that i was there if they needed me. 
it was my day off today, which was a rather good thing because the snow is super thick today and still falling! i wrapped Christmas presents, listened to Christmas songs, laughed at Michael buble as Justin bieber, wished friends good luck, heard about a few friends being snowed in, wrote letters, and have enjoyed being inside on such a horrible cold day.
so after a crazy day at work, (why do people want to go out in the snow, when they could be at home in the warm with a cup of tea??--- fair enough if you nip to get some food, but why go to a clothes shop?? stay at home! hehe)...i get home to a full back garden of snow..now whats a girl to do???---of course the answer to that is make a snowman! and man, was it cool outside. just as i have finished my sister came home after being sent home early from work. so of course fun in the snow was then had. after the snow adventures, a hot cup of tea was in order.
hopefully tonight will be filled with a hot meal, lots of cups of tea, maybe some biscuits, and hopefully a game of monopoly. 
ah its cold outside..Christmas is coming. i wish for snow! it would be lovely if it would snow on Christmas day. its sad fact that i cannot remember seeing it snow on Christmas day...it snowed when i was rather little, but i cannot remember that. i want a snowy Xmas.
today was ever so fun filled, after starting very early this morning at work, i was finished by 1, and took a train to London to meet some of my friends from uni. it was amazing to see them. 
we went for dinner which was lovely. i didn't want the time to end, but in the end i had to say goodbye. i miss living with my friends, i had kinda forgot about it, but its all i can think about now. my trip was even extra special, as i found a hamburger phone! eek! i have wanted one for such a long time, i am over the moon at the moment.
