Happy Star Wars birthday

So as you can probably guess (if you follow me on other various forms of social media) I love Star Wars. SO MUCH. And I was very lucky this year as I had a lot of Star Wars merchandise for my birthday last week. The first was getting the blu-ray on the Monday and then watching it for the next 3 nights. That was an amazing present from myself to myself.

Then my birthday rolled around and I was given 4 SW balloons, two of them were BB-8! And I also ended up with 8 SW cards. I think it's fair to say my friends and family know me very well.

My parents brought me an amazing large BB-8 from the Disney Store and a large Kylo Ren (as he is my favourite, even know he is bad) #swoon also #iloveadamdriver.

My sister brought me a really cute Rey figure/plastic doll. It's pretty neat, and I love that it actually kinda looks like Daisy Ridley too. She also got me an amazing Storm Trooper cushion, which will be going straight on my bed. Plus Star Wars Lego sets! They really are the best!

David got me two itty bitty's one being Rey and of course my favourite Kylo. He also managed to track down a 3.75inch Kylo Ren unmasked figure. I have been trying for weeks to find the new wave of figures in the UK, but I'm not having much luck. No where seems to have them. So of course I was super shocked to get one for my birthday.

Also David's parents got me the complete episode 1 tsum tsums, which I was super happy about! How cute is Darth Maul?!?

I was absolutely spoilt on my birthday this year, and I'm so glad most of it was Star Wars merchandise. I am completely addicted to all the Star Wars merchandise now, as I feel I'm re-living my childhood.

Turning 28

So I turned 28 on Tuesday. 28...gosh that sounds so strange. I woke up with the sun shining through the window. A few little presents were opened, and then we wandered down the road to have breakfast. We decided to go to the Green Door Deli. David mentioned it was my birthday, and the guys said I could have a free birthday desert. David treated me to birthday pancakes and the guys gave me extra bacon.

We then went into Canterbury to meet my awesome friend Sarah. We looked around the cute shops and then decided to go for lunch. We went to my favourite cafe in Canterbury, Cafe turquoise. We had iced coffees and sandwiches.

I got such wonderful gifts such as a new Kanken, holiday money for my trip, and fun boardgames.

I also received the greatest balloon, which was a huge Hello Kitty! I am so in love with it. My mum made me a pastel rainbow cake, and it was the most tasty cake ever! Go mumma Jennings! I had a brilliant day with family and friends. Being 28 isn't too bad so far.

I AM OLD.

ok, im not. but i feel like i am. even though i don't really feel any different. yesterday morning, the day after my birthday, i woke up and though, man i am old. however i was on a busy train yesterday, and in front of me was a group of girls. it was one of the girls birthday. all they were doing was moaning about guys, talking about how much alcohol they were gonna drink tonight, being mean to one of the girls, more talking about guys. they were 14. i am glad i am old, i couldn't handle being 14 again.

anyway, my birthday was rather nice. i am not a fan of my birthday, but my awesome friends made it fab. i went for lunch with my friend charlotte. and then charlotte and my awesome friend sarah came round for dinner with my family. my gdad was super funny like normal, it was just a really nice evening. then met some friends out, and we all went bowling. the most awesome surprise of my birthday was my present from lina. it was a beautiful print, from the movie submarine. lovelovelove. it came on my birthday, plus the stamp used to send it was of david tennant.yesterday i went to brighton (again) for the day with sarah. we went shopping and other bits and pieces, spent ages in the comicbook shop, walked to the pier, sat in cafe Nero with simon callow opposite us, and other stuff.

Doctor who is back tonight...oh my goodness. bring on 6pm.

gosh, indeed

so i am now 23...hmm its doesn't feel and different, but when i think about it it kinda does. odd---ness. i had a fun chilled out birthday. two of my lovely friends from uni, laura and claire, came to visit, and stayed. it was really nice to see them and hang out. i got lots of really cool presents and cards from family and friends. lots of books and dvds to read and watch.the past few days have consisted of trips out with friends, meeting my sister's boyfriend, hanging out with friends, roast dinners, late night shifts at work, late night shopping for books on amazon, writing postcards for a friend, falling in love with characters from glee, eating lots of birthday cake, getting tickets for gigs, partying with friends charlotte and mandy and reading.
i need to make more art, write more letters, read more books, cut out more pictures, send more letters/packages, meet more people...that's a few things i need to do.

only a few more hours of being 22

....and so its just gone half 9 at night. tomorrow i turn 23...man, that seems so old. well, i guess it is kinda old. life is passing by, i need to sort my life out, do things that i really wanna do, go places, meet the people, live more. i am getting to the stage where i don't really like my birthday, i love other peoples, its just mine...its weird i know. i am looking forward to eating cake tomorrow.

eeeep...i am trying to be busy as a bee at the moment!!! and trying to get lots of work done for uni. ahhh i don't have much more time left at uni. during my busy few days i have had lots of fun. we had a roof top bar-b-q in our flat, it was amazing, and it was my idea!! hehe. we had yummy food, and a drink. very summer-like. with lots of fun summer music playing.yay happy birthday to me...again!!! i had a mini party and we all went out on saturday night to a really cool club. lots of fun music!studio fun fun fun fun fun.

08.55..and still waiting

i had a wonderful and fun birthday. i woke up very early on my birthday morning at like 7!!..and i was surprised, still waking up early like i am a little kid..he he. crazy stuff. while i waited for my flatmates to wake up i opened presents from my parents (that they had given to me to take back to uni) and yay i got a Polaroid camera!! so early morning i was taking lots of pictures.once i heard that everyone was up i when into our living room/kitchen and there was an amazing banner of my name with lots of drawings of Seth rogen (i heart him). And i also had a Dora balloon!! :) i opened presents from my housemates and i got a watchmen figure, twilight director. book, a twilight keyring and a beautiful parrot pin. then we went out for ice cream. and two of my friends needed to give me my birthday present...and it was A GOLDFISH!!! hahaha..it was mega weird walking to the pet shop..i was wondering what the hell was going on, and then i picked out the coolest fish, i think i have called him Sheldon. i went out for dinner with my close friends who i love so much. and it was so yummy. and we all wore party hats. we also went out for drinks. :)i had some lovely cakes on my birthday too. :) the little purple hippo cake is from my friend Claire..its so cool!! the hippo is a plastic ring!!! and a giant chocolate cake from my flatmates.
and so my birthday is over for another year. onwards and upwards, lots and lots of work to be doing. my desk in the studio is so messy and full of bits and pieces. i finally got my lovely friend Kay to draw me an amazing piece of work, that will be hanging on my wall very very soon. i had to keep asking her all day long, but she finally drew me a picture. and isn't it amazing??!?!?! check her cool blog out! secret ginger
