Snap that photo

So lets talk about memories or the idea of remembering things. That's what I hope for anyway. Think that's why I always have my phone on me because I want to capture every moment. I know people say we need to live in the moment rather than take photos, but I have to otherwise I struggle to remember things. Memories seem to fade. Photos aways send the memories flooding back. I brought some new film for my instax camera the other day. I went to Manchester for 3 days, and I have only just got back. I made an effort to take more photos of myself and David together. I think that's important. I have never felt happy with the way I look in photos when I was younger, however I finally feel good. I want to take photos, I want to remember the awesome times, keep those memories alive within me.
Top tip to remember is to back up your phone, otherwise if your phone was to die you won't lose all your photos and videos. Seriously, do it. I learnt the hard way the other day...oops. That is another reason I love print out photos. They are hard copies in your hands, and ready to place in frames. I will continue to take photos and enjoy every moment.

long time

so, i haven't blogged in a while, and i wish i could say that i have been having so many adventures that i really haven't had the time to blog....but sadly that's not the case. my life just feels like one long work day. however i have this weekend to look forward to. its my birthday in a couple of weeks and its my friend Charlotte's birthday this week, so we are having a joint party. so lots of party times ahead. i always seem to love other peoples birthdays, but hate my own...hmmm, anyone else feel like this?well in my spare time have been meeting up with my lovely friend Charlotte, going round her house for dinner, planning birthday bits and pieces, nearly using up the last couple of shots from my last polaroid film, getting colourful presents from my mum and dad, getting mail from far away friends, going to the cinema to see submarine (movie is good, but book is better), oh and playing around with my newwwwww camera. when i went into the shop, the cute--well hot camera guy helped me pick one out...he was lovely...he had awesome hair, and spoke really quietly...which was kinda cute.
currently always singing, all day and all night...."a loser like meeeeee".

where is my american boy?

(my view out of my old uni flat window)
just got in from work, and i feel super creative..and i have no idea why! i guess spending all day looking at clothes and deciding what looks good with what, and then putting them on mannequins has made me rather creative today. i have a couple of out of day Polaroid films, which i need to use, (i do wanna save some for Christmas) so i think some Polaroid photos need to be taken.
i hope life is treating you all well. i am counting down the days until Xmas! aha fun times with the family are needed. it will be nice to watch Xmas movies and play board games.

*update; i am so upset Ali and Brian have been knocked out of strictly come dancing, they were the true winners, and should have made the final..i love you too so much!!! i really need to get my tour tickets as soon as i can.

rain

so it rained all day today...and didn't stop. ah normally i like the rain, but for some reason it put me in a bad mood, and made me unhappy. i have been cold all day. and have not stopped drinking hot tea. my sister came back last night, i was super happy to see her. She got me some lovely gifts. She got me a snow globe for my "collection"..(if you can call it that..haha i only have a few). I don't know what it is, i find them really tacky, but i think that's why I like them..its become a 'thing' now to collect them. She also got me an ultra cool clock! and some cute hello kitty biscuits and a chocolate umbrella! :)
i got given an award by the lovely anything-floral. thank you very muchNic awarded me the "5 Current Obsessions" award. soda...soda...and even more soda

so the funniest thing has happened. while away on holiday, when i went to the tiny little supermarket, i came across the coolest soda drinks in the world! Jones Soda. i think its the funniest thing in the world because i have never heard of these drinks at all, and when i get back and start researching them i see that the lovely Let nature be has just done a post on them! well like i just said, i have never had Jones Soda before, and i think they are great! they flavours are amazing. however i could only get my hands on a few of the giant list of flavours. they are simply amazing. i fell in love with the photos on the bottles, and the soda is amazing. i have also entered some of my photos on their website.i am addicted, the only problem i have now is, i have a few bottles left, and that's that. i cannot find them anywhere over here in the UK, i will not give up hope. i will keep looking. update..i think i have found a website..however still looking into it. :)i am missing taking photos of the woods and the sky...i miss being outside.

"The road less traveled is about to get some company"

i woke up today with my dad, yet again playing his guitar. its so nice to hear him play again. today i had the day off work, and i was sooo happy about that. today i watched the opening of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, it was really good to see everyone united together.
later on today i watched one of my favourite new movies; Moving McAllister. i saw the trailer a while ago, and i really love Jon Heder and Mila Kunis. she is so pretty and she only tries to be herself, shes great. its a really odd movie about a guy who is a ladder-climbing law intern from miami with four days until the bar exam. desperate to score points with his boss McAllister, he commits to a favour he can't afford. he finds himself in charge of a rundown removals truck headed to L.A. with his boss' Hollywood-bounce niece and her pet pig. during the movie they meet a brilliant hitch-hiker, assorted local yokels, rick finds love, life and maybe himself in this trans-American road trip from hell. the film has some amazing dream scenes. Ben gourley plays a typical guy, tall, great teeth, wears glasses, kinda nerdy, soft voice, and gets pushed around. mila kunis plays Michelle, a fun loving, wild, polaroid taking girl.all the way through the movie Michelle keeps taking polaroids of her whole journey...i really need a good polaroid camera. above are some of the polaroids from the movie; (all movie images are from Google)later on i was playing around with my tatty devine jewellery, i really want some new jewellery from tatty...i really like lots of things including Gilbert & George Large Glasses Necklace, which may i add are amazing. i will have to make do with the jewellery i have got at the moment, which isn't too bad, i do love my jewellery, but its hard when you see all these wonderful bits and pieces that you would love to have. :)
