how many sweets in a jar...

this picture reminds me so much of my first post...what a long long time ago that was.

went out for a couple of my friends course fund raising party. and it was a hoot! such a laugh! there was a game, that you had to pay a £1 for and you had to guess how many sweets were in the jar...and i won!! the answer was 162, but i guessed 152!! i was so surprised to win!! :) it was so funny!!other fun that has happened included getting a wonderful biscuit that was handmade by my lovely friend. i am getting ready to "drive home for Christmas" with my pal. i cannot wait to go home!! lots of yummy Christmas food, family, my tree, decorations, friends and fun!! i miss my mum and dad so much..its crazy!! i have not been like this before, but i miss them so much. i am looking forward to watching Jingle all the Way with my family when i am home. its my ALL TIME favourite Christmas film, i love everything about it, from start to finish. i love Phil Hartman, who played Ted. he was a true genius. i need to take more photos...aaaarggg!! but i am in need of a new memory card...ah and then that means more money..which i do not have. i must take more photos.... :D

thank you all very much for your lovely lovely lovely comments!! they made me smile, and i need smiles at the moment. on Tuesday we had a cute bake sale to raise money for our degree show fund. decorating cakes is so much fun.

i went out with a couple of my friends to my friends photography fund raising party. and it was such a laugh! and it was held in the most random pub ever!! it was way out of town, and i felt like i had gone back in time. the pub was so cute and old. there was one room in the pub that was near the back, and it was so odd!! i had to take some photos! you can see for yourself.

also at the party, there was this amazing machine. a guy was going around taking photos of people and then they can print the photo straight away into a beer bottle label, how cool is that!?!?!? i need to stick mine on my free bottle of beer soo, but i just wanted to show you the sticker.i always seem to come back with random things in my bag from a night out...i was very surprised to see i had been given this award by two amazing bloggers; rosie posie rosie, who is the sweetest person on the world and the amazing The Snows of Kilimanjaro This did put a smile on my face. thank you, thank you, thank you so much!! :)

the lack of a post

at the moment i am finding blogging very hard..its not that i don't want to blog..i just don't think i have anything interesting to say. apart from trying to do my uni work, all i am doing is waiting to go home for christmas. aaah its so annoying, i just wanna go home now...but i can't. :( sorry about the boring photos...aaaah apart from wishing it was time to go home to family and friends, and Christmas things, but other than that all i am doing is watching how i met your mother. i am so in love with this show, as i have said before. i just cannot stop watching it. at the moment i am on series 4...and loving every minute of it. i think all the characters are simply wonderful. mint sweets

hello all!! i am sorry for the lack of posting!! i have felt i have not had anything to talk about!! however, we have made our cute little flat a little more festive! we have decorated our little Christmas tree with lights, balls and lots of other bits and pieces.

my lovely friend The tea drinking english rose made me these wonderful peppermint creams, they are very cute and yummy too!! :)
heroes was more fun this week, as seth green made another appearence in the show!! also Breckin Meyer was his buddy in the show. and i loved all the comicbook geekness! as thats what goes on outside the show, i love it!

movies i wanna see in the new year include yes man! with Jim carrey, my friend loves the books by Danny Wallace so much! i have not read them, but i will try to over the Christmas holidays. other movies include; nick and norah infinate playlist!! i cannot wait!! eek kat and michael!! also role models and sex drive; which Seth green is in!! lots of funny movies to see!!!

your brain looks wonderful

today i had to speak about my work to some people in my class today..it was a little scary, but i thought i did ok...well i hope so anyway!! :) other than thinking about my uni work..i am loving heroes at th moment- elle and sylar. they are amazing! i love kirsten bell, she is pretty cool.i am still counting down the days until i can go see twilight...oooooooooo...i wish i could go see it now!! its not like i can even listen to the soundtrack or look at the movie book...because i asked them for christmas!! hehe. i have heard lots of good reviews from other bloggers. i am very much looking forward to seeing it!!!!

i am looking forward to movie night with friends tonight..i think we are going to watch transformers. i would like to have a mini movie night every week with my flatmates. we all are very busy with uni, but i think it would be nice to set aside a few hours a week to all get together and watch a movie. i think i will ask them what they think. :)
