this is my house, my house

yesterday was weird. i chickened out of going to she the strangers with friends...i really couldn't go see that. two of my friends later told me i did the right thing of not going. they told me the whole story from start to finish...and i was glad i didn't go. :) however i am looking forward to seeing saw 5 that comes out very very very soon. still on cinema stuff..i am very unhappy at this moment in time. for many months i have been banging on about looking forward to seeing the wackness..and it gets to the day of release, i check the cinema times in my very small town..and its not on at my cinema!!!!!! now if i was at uni at this moment, i could go see it, as a big city would be showing it. ah i am very upset...i so wanted to go see it. i am hoping that it will still be on when i go back to uni. i can hope i guess. i go to the cinema quite alot as i have a cinema card which lets me so see as many movies i want for £11.99 a month, which i think is very good as a typical ticket could cost up to £7.50....which is far to much really. so £11.99 is great for me, as i love films. a few of my friends from home have cards, so we normally all meet up and go together. my card wallet is bursting with ticket stubs from the movies i have seen since over this summer. today i have been sorting things out for a car boot sale, so we can raise a little bit of money. even though i will be selling things, i am also really looking forward to having a look what other people have to sell, and what i might be able to buy for my next art project. while sorting bits out, don't you just love it when you come across weird little things, things that don't really have much value, but only memories?? well i found a ticket stub from a all American rejects gig from such a long time ago, an old mirror from a cute shop in Brighton, and ribbon also from Brighton, from the coolest ribbon and material shop in the world. another thing i found that took me back was an old ghostbusters night light...oh it makes me feel small again. :)

Aww I used to have a ghostbusters t-shirt that was glow in the dark as a kid! I loved it. :D

The cinema card sounds like a great Idea, I wish they had something like that in Australia it cost so much money to see a movie these days like $17 - it's cheaper to just buy the DVD sometimes!

Your cinema card sounds awesome--I think I would live in the theatre if I had that deal going! I do get an military discount and sometimes I go through the line twice to get cheaper tickets for my friends!

Here in Canada we have cards for the movies to get deals too. I see a lot of movies, and it can get really pricey. I love all the little trinkets you find!

Oooh, Saw 5! I've seen Saw 4, I like the fancy ways of killing people. Macabre - yes.
I wish I had a cinema card, lucky you! I don't think it even exists here... Must check it out.
