its nice to be home

its so nice to be home, typing this right now. a long hard day was had. but all is good. at the moment i do feel like i am living on an island, i miss my super duper 2 close friends so much it hurts. i hope for fun days with them soon.hmm not sure about this...i need my mind to wander as an artist.
to make me feel extra special recently i got two wonderful letters in the post from my pen pals Jane and Sophia. they are lovely. i am so happy to have penpals. i enjoy writing letters, and getting ones back to hear about their lives and their thoughts..its kinda magical. getting any kid of post/mail is fab.

i got given these two beautiful and lovely awards from gimme smoothies! thank you, you wonderful fab person you!!!! first is the circle of friends award.

and second, the smile award.

your views on ringo starr?

so went out with my sister on her day off on Wednesday. which was really nice. she is always so busy..i never really get to send much time with her..which is rubbish. we had these cool milkshakes...however my sister decided it would be more fun to spill hers all over the floor...i couldn't stop laughing.
she brought an amazing skirt! its so beautiful, i wish i could show you. i got a few little bits and bobs.on Thursday i went out with my friend Sarah. it was really nice. we got to go to comic book shops, and other geeky stuff like that. :) i got myself a star wars comic, and a second hand book from oxfam. i got are you Dave gorman? which is about Dave gorman and Danny Wallace, who go on this crazy trip to see how many people they can find with the same name as Dave gorman..haha. i have only read a few pages, but i can't stop laughing already!this morning i got up and was very very excited! i was going to see (500) days of summer today!!! eek. while i waited to be picked up, i sat outside. it was quite windy..but also really warm. oh the film was simply beautiful. it made me feel happy, sad, angry, upset. and also alone. but it was wonderful. my favourite part of the movie was the 2 screen parts. for example at the beginning when she was blowing a dandelion and he was catching bubbles. but also the expectations and reality part. i left the cinema feeling happy but also a little sad.

ok, so I'm supposed to list 7 things about myself...hmm i have done quite alot of these recently. erm...go here goes.

3. I love headphones..they can keep your wonderful music, just for your ears only. and people can only here little bits, and they just have to wonder what goes on in your head, and never know.

4. When i walk into a comic book shop, i feel at home.

5. 5 is my lucky number...mainly because when i was little it was my dads..and i believed it was mine too.

6. Currently watching Ashes to Ashes because i am currently obsessed with Stephen Campbell Moore...again.

7. I love bread.

the bells are ringing...and i am singing

over the past few days, life has been quite fun filled. went out with mum and dad on Friday, which was really nice. i found a wonderful tea pot, a little like one i have seen before. after we got back we went over to help my auntie and my cousins set up for my cousins wedding. lots of laughs and fun was had. sorting out the flowers and the village hall, with the tables, and decorations. my cousins wedding was on Saturday. i had such a lovely time. oh it was beautiful. they lit a candle for my uncle, (my cousins dad) in the church, oh i have never felt anything like that before...i can't put it in to words. the service was lovely. listening to church bells is one of those great feelings..its hard to explain. these photos sum up the day;well i have been tagged by some lovely lovely lovely blogs!!! :D i was tagged by ultra cool claire eloise for the 'honest scrap' blog award, whereby you share 10 true things no one else knows, then tag ten other bloggers. i can't sleep at night...

so last night i sat in my room rather late staring at the walls as i couldn't sleep! ahhh its driving me crazy. i get ready for bed, get into bed...and then i can't sleep. i try reading, and that used to make me sleepy, but its doesn't anymore....I had to get up early this morning, me and mum did at boot sale to raise some money for our holiday in September, as every little bit counts. it was sooo hot today! and standing in one spot in the sun all day does take it out of you. we raised quite a bit! and i sold lots of stuff..although i did end up buying a couple of DVDs. i had a chat with the stall holders, as they were selling everything they had so they could go to Australia. I thought that was amazing, packing up and selling everything you own so you could escape to where you wanted to go...wonderful! i hope they have a brilliant time.i also received a wonderful letter from Jane the other day! thank you very much Jane , it was simply fab!i am also very happy to say that i have been given two awards! :) the first one is from {sprinkle} tiaras atop our pastel hair;;, wow thank you very much for this lovely award!i would like to now pass this on to the FAB; wild tendency, the amazing; from lina, the arty; a drawing journal and the wonderful; My pointe of view.

mint?

apart from loving my new mint tin, all i have done today is sit in my room......At the moment all i can think about is Adventureland. I really wanna see it, but i have to wait until September!! that's when it arrives in UK cinemas!! how annoying! :(went out for dinner with old school friends last night. it was really nice, and rather nice.I was given this pretty cool award by http://tictactomato.blogspot.com/ aka Sophia..(my paste thing will not work at the moment, its so annoying!!!)
