knock, knock

today i went on a fun filled adventure. walked by the sea, went for an amazing cup of tea and giant slice of chocolate cake in the coolest cafe---which i will be going to all the time now, looked in cute vintage and charity shops, went in the most amazing sweet shop and got popping candy, a gummy burger and sour cables.

over the past few days, life has been quite fun filled. went out with mum and dad on Friday, which was really nice. i found a wonderful tea pot, a little like one i have seen before. after we got back we went over to help my auntie and my cousins set up for my cousins wedding. lots of laughs and fun was had. sorting out the flowers and the village hall, with the tables, and decorations. my cousins wedding was on Saturday. i had such a lovely time. oh it was beautiful. they lit a candle for my uncle, (my cousins dad) in the church, oh i have never felt anything like that before...i can't put it in to words. the service was lovely. listening to church bells is one of those great feelings..its hard to explain. these photos sum up the day;well i have been tagged by some lovely lovely lovely blogs!!! :D i was tagged by ultra cool claire eloise for the 'honest scrap' blog award, whereby you share 10 true things no one else knows, then tag ten other bloggers. the magic spoons

today i went to work..not my normal Sunday of laying in bed. work was slow, but still fun. tonight we went out for drinks for one of my friends birthday. just a few of us are going out for dinner another time, but it was for all her friends tonight.for her birthday we got her some clothes vouchers, and i brought her a few little cute things including a really pretty purse/make-up bag, some sweets, and a really cool pen.we had a couple of drinks, and she opened her presents, and she liked them, so that was good. a few of us shared this really big desert which consisted of two giant brownies, 2 waffles, 3 scoops of ice cream, and two flakes!! we couldn't eat it all!! it was so funny, when you order food at this pub you get a spoon with your order number on. we got 66, and then i said to my friend as a joke you need one more 6. then my other friend comes back with the number 6 spoon!!!! weird!!!!!!! after we left me and a couple of my friends walked back to the car. town was so quiet, no one was around..kinda creepy!! we walked past work, and then started talking about how the place is haunted. the building is really really old. one of my old friends who used to work there said she saw a face appear on the ceiling in the stock room...weird.

today i woke up and felt great. i had a little lie in, which was so nice as i have been getting up early everyday to go to work. i ended up going to folkstone in search of interesting charity and secondhand shops. i am looking for anything that catches my eye...however...i did not have any luck!! i did not find one thing i liked!!when we got back my mum made me a cream tea! it was so yummy, and the tea was really nice too! i have not had a good cup of tea in a long time. later on in the evening i used my new little miffy cup with apple juice with a couple of biscuits (i feel like a big kid) while a watch a couple of movies tonight; not sure what yet, but i did get Little Miss Sunshine for £4!! so maybe that.

convention a-go-go..a-went-went

ah i am back from London! i had a blast!! David Anders is so happy in real life! he was all smiling and talking! normally he looks sad and mean..but he was great. i went a little shy when i met him..he he, as you do, but not so shy i looked stupid! :)the convention was not as busy as normal, but loads of people came to see the other signers today. Patrick Stewart walked past me with all his minders, which was kinda funny.
we also went into the Doctor who exhibition at Earls court...it was fab!!!! when you walked down the stairs..it looked really messy..and bit and bobs laying about, but then you realise that they have made it like the basement in the first episode with Billie and Chris! and the shop dummies were moving!! they were loads of other costumes and props..i got to touch 'one' of David's suits..even though it says please do not touch. :)

i spent a bit of money, not as much as i thought though! i got some wonderful things, including heroes and Indy sketch cards, heroes figures, my indy vinyl figure and other little bits and bobs!!

convention a-go-go

i am very much looking forward to going to the London Film and Comic Con on Sunday with my dad and sister. i have saved some money just for the day. so far, anyone that is of interest to me, that is going are Sendhil Ramamurthy aka Mohinder Suresh and David Anders aka Adam Monroe. ah i can't wait! i am a big Heroes fan. it would be nice if more people were added, but its better than nothing! also there are all the stalls too!! its at Earls Courts 2 in London...lots of places to spend my money on lovely SCI-FI things!! plus, gonna go to the Doctor Who Exhibition..wahoo!

..rain and fun

yesterday me and my little sis went to a cute place called Canterbury on the train...it didn't take long to get there..although it rained and rained and rained..and would not stop!! where has the sun gone?? it was really nice to just hang out with my sister as i don't see her much. i had a little money left over off my holiday which was good as i am not back to work yet, but looking forward to going back next week! yay. i went to the comic book shop to pic up my comics that i had been waiting a long time for...when i get there they only have one of them..so i was kinda sad, but one is better than none. i also had to pic some of my dads up for him.after that we went into topshop and i found some really nice jewellery that was on sale..so i didn't feel too bad about buying them...although i do not really need anymore jewellery..but its my downfall!! i got a really nice pair of heart/fabric earrings, and a fab long necklace with bits and pieces on.we then went for lunch which was really nice. afterwards we nipped into HMV, and they had a sale on...hmm i ended up buying a Superbad, and Flight of the Conchords posters..which are fab! i shouldn't have brought them..but i could not help myself!!
in the evening i went to see the mist with friends. we were in the smallest screen..which smelled. i saw a new trailer for a new movie in which Jamie bell stars..it looks good and so does he!! ...hmm not really sure what i thought of the whole movie..but the ended was so heartbreaking.

another day goes by and i am sitting here again writing. ever since i have started doing this blog i always find myself thinking about how little i do with my day, or maybe i mean how i could be doing something so much more important in my day...but i end up doing my silly little things.

today started off alright, the weather was really nice today. not too sunny, but still it was warm in the air. i just did little jobs today like getting in some food shopping and cleaning the kitchen. ah it took me quite a while, but it was kinda fun in a weird way. it is nice to have a good old clean sometimes.

then spent the next couple of hours really looking forward to watching Doctor Who; Silence in the Library. wahoo another Steven Moffat story! he brought us the terrifying weeping angels in Blink and the spooky gas mask-wearers in The Empty Child...and also he is going to be taking over as the shows lead writer in 2010. And it was good this week!! back to the real scariness of Doctor Who, like the old days.
