"where do you go to my lovely.."

ah another day goes by... had a few hours at work which was really good. and got quite a few hours all next week, so that's great!! so happy to be back. even tho i only did a few hours at work, it still wore me out! i am not used to standing on my feet all day!! plus i had to get back to remembering where everything is!last night when i was up really late sorting out my stuff in my room, (hopefully i can get rid of bits and pieces ie; eBay or at a boot sale) i came across an old video my dad got me years ago!! it was Pieces of April with Kate Holmes. i dusted it off, and put the tape in my video player, i was very surprised. it was an odd, weird tone sort of movie, right up my street...however i believe that if i had watched this when i was given it...i don't think i would have liked it. but i enjoyed watching it last night. it was very sad and showed how important family is. its about a wayward daughter who invites her dying mother and the rest of her estranged family to her apartment for Thanksgiving dinner.
tonight i am going to watch the Darjeeling Limited. its one of my favourite movies. Wes Anderson is amazing. and i absolutely love Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson too!!!
Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.
the soundtrack to the movie is gorgeous! plus i love the short film just before the Darjeeling limited; Hotel Chevalier; starring Jason Schwartzman and Natalie Portman. i love her and everything she does.
simply a beautiful movie. wonderful. :) plus..Jason is amazing!
